  • Part of what sets Cornerstone apart is the immense time and personal attention we offer to each client. Because of the nature of how we work, we are selective in how many projects we take on a year to ensure we can bring the true Cornerstone experience to each and every client. 

    We typically limit ourselves to ten or less ground breaks a year, factoring in the size and scope of each build. 

  • Right now, we mainly build in the following neighborhoods in Fort Wayne including: Shadow creek, Mercato, the Quarry, the Villages of Arneo, and Chestnut Creek. You can learn more about these communities here. [link to blog]

    We’re always open to exploring new areas. If you have another location in mind, let’s talk!

  • While building new homes is our main focus, we are open to remodel work. Like new build inquiries, we’re very selective on the projects we take on and evaluate inquiries on a case by case basis. 

  • This is where we excel! We have extensive experience in accommodating builds from across the country, ensuring a process that feels as close to in-person as possible.

    We utilize advanced digital technology to stay in regular contact with clients throughout the entire build phase. We facilitate finish selections through showrooms local to you to make sure you can see, touch, and feel the final materials that will be a part of your home. 

    Like any project—local or remote—our process is catered to every individual client and their needs. 

  • There are two components to this question: A time component and a financial component.

    Time: We ask that our clients be highly involved in bringing the vision to life. Custom building takes commitment from all parties involved to have the best end result. We’ve developed a streamlined process that will protect as much of your valuable time as possible. 

    Finances: Your personal financial investment can vary greatly based on the size, scope, and end vision of the project. A typical Cornerstone build is in excess of $200 per square foot. Please reach out here and we’d be happy to discuss financing further.

  • We have a select few vendors we prefer to work with we can point you to, though we will work with everyone. Traditionally, there is a construction loan obtained by the client which is converted to a permanent mortgage at the end of the build.

  • We love living in Fort Wayne! It's a growing area with so much to offer. Our blog is full of great resources on life in Fort Wayne. 

  • A typical build takes 9-12 months, though each project may vary. 

  • Yes! Every home comes with a 2-4-10 warranty from RWC. Two years on mechanical issues, four years on your roof, and ten years on structural components. From day one you are covered. To review our home warranty, you can reach out here.

  • There are many great agents in the Fort Wayne area and surrounding. For build clients, we offer—though certainly don’t require—to sell their home at a discounted rate through Katie Penny, in an effort to help sellers save on realtor fees.

  • We work with interior designers nation-wide, and are open to working with your designer, if you have someone particular in mind.

    Locally, we love working alongside House to Home, and have created a streamlined partnership if you choose to work with them.
